Remi Piet on U.S.-China Talks

CGTN’s Gerald Tan talks to Remi Piet, senior partner at the Embellie Advisory, about day two of the high-level U.S.-China talks in Alaska

From global summits (US-China) to negotiations with communities in emerging markets, best practices on negotiation tactics and institutional framework can be shared.

We strongly recommend watching the LCP documentary on European negotiations (or how to get 28 countries to agree on the future of Europe)… tons of best practices to be implemented for discussion around key mining/energy projects.

As for the US-China talks this weekend, the words were strong. But if you read between the lines, include #negotiation tactics and domestic goals, look at the institutional framework in development (working groups, negotiation agenda…), Rémi Piet is not as pessimistic as most, especially for Latin America and Africa.
