During our recent fieldwork in Peru, our team had the opportunity to collaborate closely with local communities. Our objective was to conduct information gathering exercises aimed at understanding diverse perspectives on ongoing projects. This initiative forms a fundamental part of our commitment to socio-political and community analysis, in our pursuit of sustainable and impactful development.
Central to our mission is the cultivation of robust relationships with these communities, underpinned by trust, closeness, and dialogue. We firmly believe that securing a social license, built upon respect and understanding, is essential for the enduring success and longevity of any project.
We understand that the journey towards sustainable development doesn’t end with project completion. Therefore, we establish mechanisms for ongoing engagement, periodic check-ins, and support for community-led endeavors.
